Job summary

Shop Local Kentucky is seeking experienced Screen Printing press operators to join our Kentucky production team. We produce high-quality apparel for national retail brands and seek printers who take pride in their work to uphold our standards.

We are hiring for both auto and manual presses, with training available for those open to learning a new skilled trade. The role requires standing, lifting up to 40 pounds, and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate screen printing presses according to tech packs and specifications.

Screen Printing | Press Operator

We produce the highest quality apparel in Kentucky and need to add more experienced printers to our growing team. If you are a pro in the industry or are looking to work for the best and grow your skills this is the place. We produce for national retail brands and are looking for printers who take pride in their work.

We are currently looking for people in all positions but most urgently printers, both auto and manual. We are willing to train anyone as long as they show an ability to be open to learning a new skilled trade and meet the essential job functions below.

Essential Job Functions

• Shows up on time/Reliable transportation


• Maintain a clean and safe production environment.


• Preforms other duties assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Shirt check-in. Ability to count


• Tape, set-up & register screen or ability to assist


• Print according to tech pack specifications


• Review and approve Test Prints prior to printing bulk production.


• QC all garments printed

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on printing experience.


• Ability to print on a Manual Presses or Automatic Presses


• Ability to Load/Unload/Catch on an Automatic press


• Familiarity with Screen Coating, Burning & Reclaiming a plus


• Familiarity with mixing custom pantones according to the formula recipe.


• Familiarity with heat transfer application


• Familiarity with Emails, Word, Excel, and Adobe Illustrator. Artwork Seps also a major plus.
