Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking a laborer in Missouri to support scrap metal yard operations. You will unload pallets, sort materials, and assist with equipment handling while following safety rules. The role requires lifting, pulling, pushing, and basic math, plus clear communication with teammates.

Training on PPE and equipment maintenance will be provided, and reliability is essential. This is a physical, outdoor position with daily attendance expected and adherence to federal, state, and company

Qualifications

Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
Must pass a background check.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively; understand directions (written or oral) and use basic math skills as the job demands.
Willingness to learn how to sort metal, identify colors, shapes, and weights; properly maintain equipment; properly utilize PPE

Responsibilities

Unloading pallets, boxes, and bundles.
Material handling / sorting – pushing, pulling, picking, lifting, carrying, and filling up hoppers, boxes.
Disassembling small equipment and removing bolts and appliance parts.
Operate or work with recycling equipment for processing metal products.
Direct traffic of yard vehicles traveling through yard.
Light facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
Maintain neat and orderly work areas and ensure safety compliance.
