Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Laborer to join our team in Missouri. The role involves outdoor work, general housekeeping, and assisting technical staff. Expect to learn on the job, progress to more technical tasks, and grow within the company.

Work hours are 7:30 am–4:00 pm Monday–Friday and Saturdays 7:30 am–noon with overtime as needed. We offer competitive pay, bonuses, comprehensive benefits, 401k matching, weekly pay, and PPE provisioning.

Qualifications

• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• Preferred: high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively and use basic math.
• Willingness to learn sorting metal and operating PPE.

Responsibilities

• Unloading pallets, boxes and bundles.
• Material handling and sorting - pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying.
• Unpacking boxes and separating packaging materials.
• Disassembling small equipment and removing parts.
• Operate recycling equipment for processing metal products.
• Direct traffic of yard vehicles traveling through yard.
• Light facility maintenance - painting, cleaning and moving equipment.
• Maintenance - tools, parts for machinery, assist repairs.
• Housekeeping - sweeping, shoveling and debris collection.
• Moderate landscaping work and area organization.
• Clean up work area at end of shift; keep areas neat.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Dispose of waste materials properly and safely.
• Inspect cleanup and ensure safety; perform other duties as assigned.
