Job summary

SA Recycling LLC is seeking personnel to load and unload trucks, inspect metal grades for inventory, and perform daily safety inspections in a scrap yard environment. The role requires careful communication with offices and customers to determine load commodities and to maintain a clean, safe work area.

Experience with wheel loaders is a plus; bilingual English/Spanish abilities are a bonus. The company emphasizes equal opportunity employment and safety-first policies across all sites.

Qualifications

• Grandfathered in qualifications if hired before April 2014.
• Must pass a medical physical and drug test.
• Must pass a background check.
• High school diploma or GED and/or foreign education acceptable (preferred).
• Bi-lingual English & Spanish a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively; basic math skills required.
• Previous wheel loader experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks hauling scrap metal.
• Inspect and determine metal grade for inventory tracking.
• Perform DOT daily operation and safety inspection.
• Communicate with office and customers to determine commodities to load.
• Work independently when operating scrap metal equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe yard environment.
