Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• 1 year experience operating a material handler or crane in related industries preferred.
• Able to follow written or oral instructions and perform basic math tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheeled material handlers to load/unload scrap metal and debris.
• Determine load weights and verify lifting capacities to prevent overloads.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts and report safety concerns.
• Direct truck drivers for loading/unloading and maintain yard organization.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep work area safe.
