Job summary

Tethered Talent seeks a Scope Repair Technician II/III in Huntington Beach, CA to perform high-precision inspection, diagnosis, and repair of endoscopes, ultrasound equipment, and surgical instrumentation. You will work on complex repairs with increasing autonomy, provide bench support to peers, and help drive process improvements while maintaining ISO 13485 and FDA QSR compliance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience repairing flexible/rigid endoscopes in a depot, OEM service center, or third-party repair environment.
• Working knowledge of leak/pressure testing and repair documentation within an ISO 13485 or FDA-regulated system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational certification in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose endoscopes; document findings in repair management system.
• Perform precision repair of insertion tubes, cables, optics, and related components.
• Test for leaks, pressure, and channel patency; bench-test scopes for quality.
• Complete accurate work order documentation adhering to ISO 13485 and FDA QSR standards.
• Tech III: provide guidance and coaching to junior staff and lead complex troubleshooting.
