Job summary

Regent Surgical Health is seeking an Endoscopy Scope Technician to join the OR team. The role provides technical support to the surgeon, endoscopy nurse, and anesthesiologist, handling calibration of endoscopes and related equipment according to facility standards.

Responsibilities include preparing cases, maintaining instruments, assisting with procedures, and ensuring supplies and equipment meet par levels. A high school diploma and surgical tech training are required, with BLS per ASC policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology (Center dependent).
• BLS certification as required by ASC policy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain instruments and equipment used in endoscopic procedures.
• Assist the RN circulator and set up/break down endoscopic procedures.
• Pass instruments to the surgeon and/or assistant as appropriate.
