Pelican Pete’s, operated by TEI Hospitality, is seeking a Scooper to join our Lake Lanier location in Gainesville, GA. The role focuses on delivering a seamless ice cream and dessert experience, greeting guests, and maintaining a clean, organized workstation during fast-paced shifts.

Ideal candidates are 16+, customer-focused, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with strong teamwork and communication skills to support a fun waterfront dining experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced setting
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Scoop and serve ice cream, gelato, or frozen desserts according to portion standards.
• Prepare cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, and other menu items accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, including utensils, scoops, and serving areas.
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Restock supplies, toppings, and cones as needed throughout the shift.
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments accurately at the register.
• Monitor inventory and communicate shortages to management.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and sanitation.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, complaints, or special requests.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
