Job summary

Info-Ways is seeking 1-2 resources with 3-4 years of experience to build and support SCOM 2007. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems in production environments and experience in deploying management packs.

Additionally, candidates should have experience working in Agile environments with proficiency in Jira, relational databases, and various scripting languages like PowerShell. A BS in Computer Science or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience building and supporting SCOM 2007.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems in production environments.
• Experience working in a complex software environment.

Job description

1-2 resource with 3-4 years’ experience building from the ground up and supporting SCOM 2007. This should include building and deploying management packs.

Experience and Skills

• Experience working in an Agile environment with Jira.
• Working knowledge of relational databases particularly Microsoft SQL and/or MySQL Server.
• Applied client and server-side scripting experience with PowerShell and one or more languages (i.e. Perl, VBScript, XML, Java).

Education and Guidelines

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent education and experience required.
• Experience working in a complex and large-scale software environment.
• Experience with engineering/operations of Enterprise monitoring tools.
• Experience in software and hardware management tools a strong plus.
