Job summary

Core One is seeking a knowledgeable security policy professional to assist with SCIF-related security requirements and policy development. The role supports physical, personnel, information and technical security across the organization and coordinates with government personnel on policy matters.

The candidate will draft security policies, present recommendations to leadership, and contribute to antiterrorism program development while coordinating awareness initiatives and policy updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-10 years of experience, can be in industrial security and/or U.S. military.
• Experience with SCIF lifecycle projects, construction, and inspections for accreditation.
• Knowledge of ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21.
• Experience in security areas: Physical, Personnel, Information, Technical, Transmission and Security Incidents.
• Willingness to travel (CONUS and OCONUS).

Responsibilities

• Assist with physical security and SCIF security requirements and crime prevention programs.
• Support security policy formulation, development and evaluation.
• Participate in development of the antiterrorism program.
• Document and update internal policy and procedures.
• Draft security policies for government review and approval.
• Provide written recommendations to senior management for security policy changes.
