Job summary

CDW seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to build, secure, and maintain software delivery pipelines and supporting infrastructure for mission-focused applications. This on-site role requires work in a SCIF at Seal Beach, CA with potential locations in Herndon, VA or Satellite Beach, FL and requires TS/SCI clearance.

You will design CI/CD pipelines, integrate security testing, automate infrastructure with IaC, and harden systems per STIGs while supporting RMF/ATO processes and secure software supply chains.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance
• On-site SCIF in Seal Beach, CA; Herndon, VA; or Satellite Beach, FL
• Hands-on DevSecOps/DevOps experience
• Proficiency with Linux and scripting
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD platforms
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools (Terraform/Ansible)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Knowledge of secure software development, vulnerability remediation, access control, secrets management, and software supply chain security
• Understanding of networking and incident response
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications in restricted/classified environments.
• Integrate security testing into delivery workflows (static analysis, dependency scanning, container scanning, secrets detection).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management via IaC.
• Build and support containerized apps and orchestration platforms with secure configurations.
• Harden operating systems and pipeline components per baselines and STIGs.
• Support RMF/ATO activities by documenting controls and remediation steps.
• Manage software artifacts and approved dependencies in restricted networks.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability and auditability.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, infra, and security issues with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain architecture docs, runbooks, and recovery procedures while complying with classification requirements.
