Job summary

CDW is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to design, secure, and maintain software delivery pipelines for mission-focused applications. This on-site role operates in SCIF environments at client locations in Seal Beach, CA; Herndon, VA; or Satellite Beach, FL, collaborating across development, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

The position emphasizes infrastructure automation, STIG-compliant hardening, and secure software supply chains, with responsibilities spanning CI/CD design, security testing

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to maintain required access for the client assignment.
• On-site work in a SCIF at client location in Seal Beach, CA; Herndon, VA; or Satellite Beach, FL.
• Hands-on experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proficiency with Linux administration and scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration-management tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Knowledge of secure software development, vulnerability remediation, access control, secrets management, and software supply chain security.
• Understanding of networking, system troubleshooting, and secure operation of enterprise infrastructure.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and document procedures.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for applications in restricted/classified environments.
• Integrate security testing into delivery workflows (static analysis, dependency scanning, container scanning, secrets detection).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with IaC.
• Build and support containerized apps and orchestration platforms with secure config and image management.
• Harden operating systems and pipeline components per client baselines and STIGs.
• Support RMF and ATO activities with evidence, controls, and remediation tracking.
• Manage software artifacts and dependencies, including controlled promotion in disconnected environments.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability and auditability.
• Troubleshoot build, deployment, infrastructure, and security issues in collaboration with teams.
• Maintain architecture docs, runbooks, and recovery procedures respecting classification rules.
