Job summary

R2T, Inc. in the Atlanta area seeks an Ecologist to join our Environmental group as the GDOT Ecologist. The position emphasizes field-based data collection and collaboration with project teams.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field and have 1–2 years of applicable experience, plus proficiency with MS Office and a valid driver’s license.

• Receives instruction on specific assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions. Assistance is furnished on unusual problems and is reviewed for application of sound professional judgment.
• Provide additional program support as needed.

Specific responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Evaluates selects, and applies standard scientific techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptions and modifications.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license.
