Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego, CA seeks a Scientist in Large Molecule Bioanalysis to develop and apply hybrid LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS methods for quantitative bioanalysis of peptides, antibodies, proteins, ADCs and other conjugates. You will perform immunoaffinity workflows, protein digestion and intact protein analysis.

BS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences with 2+ years in bioanalysis is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with 2+ years of bioanalysis or MS experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply hybrid LC-MS/MS and LC-HRMS methods for peptide and protein quantitation in biological matrices
• Support bioanalysis of samples from preclinical PK/TK and other nonclinical studies
• Perform immunoprecipitation/immunoaffinity enrichment, protein digestion, and surrogate peptide quantitation
• Perform intact protein analysis, peptide mapping, and bottom-up LC-HRMS analyses
• Support biotransformation assessment of ADCs and protein conjugates using hybrid LC-HRMS
• Analyze, document, and communicate experimental results and contribute to method improvements
