Job summary

BluePath Labs in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Scientist to support a Federal Government client. This onsite role covers laboratory operations, scientific testing, technology assessment, and test and evaluation, with responsibilities including equipment calibration, data collection, and developing templates and reports.

The ideal candidate is a U.S. citizen with a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field, experience with lab operations, and the ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
• Experience with laboratory operations, scientific testing, or research and development.
• Ability to summarize scientific findings and communicate them orally and in writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory Support, including equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Testing and implementing new technologies.
• Collect, review, and analyze data.
• Develop templates, SOPs, and other documentation.
• Improve laboratory processes.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and analysts to review data and contribute to reports and dashboards.
