Job Summary

You will work in a fast-paced environment, supporting all R&D platforms, especially flavor and scent delivery projects. The position requires conducting bench research in gas chromatography and sample preparation, with a deep understanding of quantitative analysis, instrumentation, and chromatographic theory.

Under the guidance of a group leader, you will conduct routine analyses and develop new methods. The role also involves understanding customer needs and project development, employing knowledge of organic, analytical, and physical chemistry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, set up, and execute experiments (60%)
  • Analyze data, document experiments accurately, present findings, and propose next steps (30%)
  • Participate in department meetings and other R&D activities (10%)
Key Skills:
  • Proven experience in sample preparation in complex matrices
  • Technical knowledge of chromatographic separations, especially gas chromatography
  • Knowledge in quantifying target compounds using chromatographic methods
  • Familiarity with chromatographic instrumentation and troubleshooting skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
Requirements:
  • MS degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field with over 5 years of industrial experience, or a Bachelor's degree with over 10 years of relevant experience in sample preparation, automation, chromatography, and analysis techniques.
