Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Scientist II in Process Analytical Technology to design and execute studies advancing PAT for mammalian manufacturing and purification of antibodies.

You will lead defined work packages, apply analytical techniques, interpret data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience working in a biotechnology, biologics, or biopharmaceutical laboratory environment.
• Strong experimental design, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting process development, analytical technologies, or manufacturing sciences.
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate scientific findings clearly.

Job Title : Scientist II, Process Analytical Technology

Location : Portsmouth, NH (On-site)

We are looking for a Purification Scientist II to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will design and execute experimental studies that support the evaluation and implementation of Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) for mammalian manufacturing processes. You will contribute to the development of innovative PAT solutions supporting the purification of monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and emerging biologic modalities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality scientific outcomes.

This role follows a Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30PM schedule.
