Job summary

Lonza in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a Scientist to support development and implementation of Process Analytical Technologies for biologics manufacturing. The role involves upstream process development for monoclonal and bispecific antibodies, contributing to innovative PAT solutions, and collaborating with experienced scientists to meet project milestones.

You will execute experimental studies, analyze data, and maintain quality and compliance while delivering on project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Bioengineering, Biomanufacturing, or related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of mammalian cell culture and upstream bioprocessing operations.
  • Understanding of scientific methods and laboratory practices for biologics manufacturing.
  • Ability to execute laboratory experiments and analyze data accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Execute experimental studies supporting evaluation and implementation of new Process Analytical Technologies (PAT).
  • Support upstream manufacturing operations for monoclonal antibodies, bispecific antibodies, and other biologic modalities.
  • Deliver assigned project activities using established scientific methods and documented procedures.
  • Execute and review experimental plans, data, and reports while ensuring quality and compliance.

What you will do

Execute experimental studies supporting the evaluation and implementation of new Process Analytical Technologies (PAT)

What we are looking for
