Job summary

Biogen in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Scientist II to join the Analytical Development team as an LC SME and Analytical Project Lead. You will drive LC method development, ensure robust stability-indicating methods for synthetic substances, and guide analytical strategy across development programs from early to late stage.

You will collaborate with CMC, formulation, process development, and quality teams, while mentoring others and supporting programs with oligonucleotides and peptides.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 0-3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
• M.S. with 4+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
• BS with 6+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech settings.
• Deep expertise in small molecule LC method development, with strong experience in HPLC/UHPLC and familiarity with LC-MS.
• Proven ability to lead analytical activities for drug development programs.
• Strong knowledge of ICH guidelines and experience working within regulated (GMP/GLP) environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $117,000.00-$157,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
