Job summary

Tempus AI is seeking a senior scientific leader to guide computational research programs in precision medicine. You will collaborate with biopharma partners to design analyses, integrate multi-omics data, and drive opportunities within oncology drug development.

You will articulate complex results to diverse audiences, author whitepapers, and contribute to cross-functional product and engineering efforts. Remote-ready roles exist in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• PhD in quantitative discipline with strong publication record.
• Minimum 4+ years in drug development leveraging genomic and multimodal data.
• Experience integrating molecular data and AI in drug discovery.
• Proficiency in R, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with pharma clients to design and execute computational research projects.
• Analyze large clinical and molecular datasets to extract insights.
• Stay ahead of oncology drug development trends and identify new markets.
• Co-architect solutions with clients leveraging the Tempus platform.
• Develop global account strategy in coordination with the account team.
• Communicate technical results clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Publish whitepapers illustrating multimodal analysis in drug discovery.
