Job Description
Are you a motivated histotechnologist searching for a position in a highly collaborative, dynamic environment in a company with a great culture? This might be an opportunity for you! We are seeking an individual who will perform histology for immunology drug discovery programs. The successful candidate will work in a group providing research support in target validation, target distribution, animal model development, pharmacology, and exploratory safety studies. Being detail-oriented is critical to this role. Specific activities will include routine histology (e.g., tissue trimming, tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning of paraffin-embedded and frozen tissues), routine and special histochemical staining, and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Additional tasks include using computer-based laboratory tracking systems (Sample Manager, Dream Path) and a willingness to get creative when working with novel tissues or challenging pathology endpoints. The candidate must independently schedule and prioritize workload to manage several tasks.
