Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Scientist I to support the ADME-Tox space within the Eurofins Discovery group. The role emphasizes analytical chemistry method development, with proven CRO/industry lab experience in LC-MS and related bioanalytical workflows.

You will mentor junior scientists, manage lab activities, develop LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK, and contribute to project teams with internal and client collaborations. This full-time position is based in St.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of LC-MS experience in CRO or industry labs.
  • Experience validating bioanalytical methods per FDA/ICH/OECD guidelines.
  • Experience with Quality Systems in a regulated lab.
  • Proven ability to develop high-throughput analytical methods.

Responsibilities

  • Develop LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK and BioAnalytical work.
  • Lead and mentor junior scientists and labs scheduling.
  • Perform method validation and QC data review.
  • Support method validation for new service lines and data systems.
  • Troubleshoot MS, HPLC, and instrument issues; maintain equipment.

Job Description

Are you looking to grow your experience in the ADME-Tox space? Look no further! Come join our dynamic and growing team for a great opportunity. The Scientist Iwill support the Eurofins Discovery business in contract research services. This role requires applied experience and proven knowledge in analytical chemistry method development and analysis, with related experience in a contract research organization (CRO) or industry laboratory.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Perform work in a laboratory setting and meets the physical job requirements of a lab role.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship for junior scientists, and lab leadership through daily lab management, equipment management and lab planning.
  • Performwork in a laboratory setting, meeting the physical job requirements of a lab role.
  • DevelopLiquid Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) methods for ADME/ DMPK and BioAnalysis applications
  • Developanalytical methods supporting project teams both internally and externally for new assay development.
  • PerformTroubleshooting and Maintenance of Mass Spectrometers and HPLC units.
  • Experience with Sciex® or Thermo High Resolution/ Accurate Mass Instrumentation is a plus.
  • Prepareand manages inventory of buffers, reagents, semi-finished and finished goods.
  • Providesolutions to more complex problems, identifies and initiates process improvements
  • Performdata and report QC review within the department and may support the Study Director.
  • Supportvalidation of new methods that contribute to expansion of service/product line, equipment, and data management systems.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate:

  • 3+ years of of direct/demonstrated experience with Liquid Chromatography- Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) in a contract research organization or industry laboratory in one or more of the following areas:
    • Bioanalytical Method Development for Small and/or Large Molecules
    • Drug Metabolism and Metabolite Identification w/ Structural Elucidation
    • Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics experimental design & execution
  • Demonstrated experience with validation of bioanalytical methods in accordance with regulatory (FDA, ICH, OECD) guidelines.
  • Experience working in a Quality Management System.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in High-Throughput analytical method development for small molecules.
  • Experience in leading and delivering results in R&D or innovation programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading in human mammalian cell culture laboratories.
  • Demonstrated experience working with light-based readers with 384-well and 96-well plates.
  • B.S. with 3 years of relevant experience
  • M.S. with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ph.D. with 1 years of relevant experience
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of St. Charles, MO are encouraged to apply.
