Job summary

Eurofins Scientific, a global life sciences leader, is seeking a Scientist for its BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA. You will perform a range of analyses in biochemistry-focused areas, review raw data, and help set up new analytical processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field, can work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrates strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time position with standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine) primarily in biochemistry-related areas of Biopharmaceutical Services.
• Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability.

Job Description

Scientistresponsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform a wide range of analyses (routine and non-routine) primarily but not limited to the biochemistrytest areas of Biopharmaceutical Services
• Review and evaluate raw data for acceptability
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular, cell biology, or other related degree concentration, orequivalent directly-related experience required
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed.Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
