Job summary

Qualifications

• BS or MS in a related scientific discipline with 5–7+ (BS) or 2–5+ (MS) years of experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge of molecular biology and binding and functional assays.
• Experience with large datasets retrieval, shaping, preprocessing, and data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively design digital workflows or tools to streamline biologics discovery and evaluate improvements in operational efficiency
• Test software solutions and identify opportunities for iterative improvements
• Proactively identify scientist needs that further our digital transformation strategy and propose solutions
• Pilot new software and AI tools to evaluate utility for BGM
• Implement standard analyses and visualizations that balance customization and increased efficiency
• Represent BGM to Informatics and external software vendor providers as a technical expert
• Collaborate across groups with different priorities
• Understand and communicate nuance of wet-lab workflows to enable integrated, harmonized data capture
• Proactively communicate roadblocks and identify potential paths forward
• Communicate impact, including workflow efficiency gains at internal and external forums
• BS or MS degree in a related scientific discipline or bioinformatics, with typically 5-7+ (BS)or 2-5+ (MS) years of experience.
