Qualifications

• BS or MS in a related field with 5-7+ (BS) or 2-5+ (MS) years experience.
• Strong knowledge of molecular biology and binding/functional assays.
• Hands-on with tools: Prism, Geneious, Genedata Screener, Dotmatics, Benchling.
• Python proficiency and at least one other language (SQL/Java/R).
• Experience in data engineering: retrieving, shaping, preprocessing large datasets.
• Ability to develop interactive visualizations and dashboards (Power BI/Tableau).
• Experience with assay data collection/processing, preferably with automated liquid handlers.

Responsibilities

• Collaboratively design digital workflows or tools to streamline biologics discovery and evaluate improvements in operational efficiency
• Test software solutions and identify opportunities for iterative improvements
• Proactively identify scientist needs that further our digital transformation strategy and propose solutions to meet them
• Pilot new software and AI tools to evaluate utility for BGM
• Implement standard analyses and visualizations that balance customization and increased efficiency
• Represent BGM to Informatics and external software vendor providers as a technical expert.
• Collaborate across groups with different priorities
• Understand and communicate nuance of wet-lab workflows to enable integrated, harmonized data capture.
• Proactively communicate roadblocks and identify potential paths forward
• Communicate impact, including workflow efficiency gains at internal and external forums
