Job Description

• The candidate must have experience in conducting in vitro ADME assays and familiarity with quantitative bioanalysis to support development of client small molecule therapeutics.
• Expertise in conducting in vitro ADME assays that include stability assays in a variety of biological matrices, in vitro metabolic stability assays using primary or derived cell lines or other biological matrices, Cytochrome P450 inhibition and induction assays, and protein binding assays.
• Track record of handling and maintaining cell cultures (primary and derived cell lines). Familiar with metabolite profiling, identification and/or quantification.
• Technical expertise in bioanalysis using LC-MS/MS. Primary responsibilities will include hands-on laboratory work including managing/coordinating daily lab activities, conducting in vitro ADME assays, cell culture, developing bioanalytical LC-MS/MS methods for the quantitative analysis of small molecules, quantitating drug concentrations in various biological matrices, data integration and report writing.
• The candidate will work closely with senior scientists within the group to support discovery project teams, which may include data presentation in team meetings, monitoring DMPK CROs, designing in vivo DMPK studies, and data management and presentation.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 1-3+ or 3-5+ years of experience in DMPK and/or bioanalytical chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on knowledge of in vitro DMPK assays; experience with cell culture; experience in developing LC-MS/MS methods.
• Knowledge of in vivo pharmacokinetic analysis is a plus. Strong organizational, record-keeping, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and multitask; enthusiastic and motivated team player with a can-do attitude.
