Job summary

Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) is seeking a Refrigeration & Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, repair, calibration, and installation of scientific instruments used in cutting-edge medical research. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or with research staff.

You will inspect and service refrigeration systems, use schematics to diagnose issues, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and basic refrigeration theory.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.
• Experience with scientific electronic equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, maintain, and install electronic and electromechanical equipment.
• Use manuals, blueprints, and diagrams to diagnose and calibrate instrumentation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations per manufacturer specs.
• Assist with cost estimates, inventory, and documentation for work orders.
• Respond to on-call alerts and emergencies as needed.
