Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Recruiter to own the end-to-end hiring process in Madison, WI. You will craft job descriptions, source and screen candidates, interview, and extend offers, while ensuring a professional candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of full-cycle, high-volume recruitment experience in a corporate or agency setting.
  • Strong experience in scheduling, interviewing, extending offers, and salary negotiations.
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and People Services & Culture partners.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in ATS and recruitment tools.
  • Comfortable working on a computer and in an office setting.
  • Self-starter who can complete and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to manage high-volume recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to coordinate interviews, manage calendars, and facilitate efficient scheduling.
  • Work closely with hiring managers, People Services & Culture, and business leaders to understand talent needs and implement recruitment strategies.
  • Leverage job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach to identify and attract top talent.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for compliance and reporting.
  • Represent the company at career events, networking functions, and industry forums to enhance employer branding.
  • Stay informed on hiring trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruitment best practices.
  • Assist with People Services and talent-related initiatives as needed.

Pay

Wisconsin pay range: $65,000 USD - $80,000 USD.
