Job summary

Emmes is seeking a Scientific Director for the Statistical and Data Coordinating Center (SDCC). The role is US-Remote and focuses on leading large, complex government-sponsored clinical trials with expertise in biostatistics, vaccine and infectious disease programs, and line management at senior levels.

You will build external and internal relationships, contribute to business development, and guide study design, analysis, and manuscript development while ensuring data quality, dissemination,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in biostatistics or related field with clinical research focus.
• PhD preferred for leadership in government-sponsored trials.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience leading multi-center clinical research programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead large multi-center, multi-protocol clinical trial programs supported by US Government.
• Provide statistical input, oversight, and guidance for study design and analysis.
• Develop study protocols and manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
• Build relationships with government sponsor representatives and internal executives.
