Location: Irvine, CA
Duration: 18 Months
The Laboratory Coordinator primarily supports daily laboratory operations through laboratory glassware washing and preparation, inventory control, supply ordering, and sample handling. Responsibilities include washing, rinsing, drying, inspecting, and organizing laboratory glassware and reusable supplies; operating and cleaning laboratory dishwashers and autoclaves; monitoring inventory levels, performing routine inventory counts, maintaining accurate records, identifying replenishment needs, submitting and tracking supply orders, receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and monitoring expiration dates; and receiving, labeling, logging, staging, storing, distributing, transferring, and disposing of laboratory samples in accordance with established procedures while maintaining sample identification, condition, documentation, and traceability. This is a consultant replacement rather than a direct backfill of a departing worker, and the incoming coordinator will take full ownership of the scope at handoff. This posting supports the Chemistry laboratory.

Initial term is 18 months with a start date of October 1, 2026. Leadership has indicated this is a long-term operational need, and extension is anticipated subject to business need and approval. Extension is not guaranteed at the time of submittal.
