Job summary

MSD is seeking a Scientific Content Manager to develop and curate scientifically rigorous, audience-tailored content that communicates the value of MSD’s technologies, products, and platforms. This role translates complex science into clear narratives for researchers and decision-makers.

Working with Product Marketing, MarCom, R&D, and KOLs, you will manage the editorial calendar, ensure scientific accuracy, and support demand generation with technical assets and event content.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years in scientific communications, technical marketing, or related role in life sciences, biotech, or diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality content including application notes, white papers, case studies, scientific blog posts, webinars, and posters.
• Translate technical product features and data into compelling customer benefits for specific market segments.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to align content with positioning, messaging, and campaigns.
• Manage the editorial calendar for scientific content across channels.
• Ensure scientific content meets accuracy, clarity, and credibility standards.
• Collaborate with R&D, applications scientists, and KOLs for data and insights.
• Develop narratives contextualizing MSD’s solutions within key research areas.
• Provide content for campaigns, event content, and demand generation.
• Define and track KPIs and review performance data to refine strategy.
