Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Alabama teaching certificate in the grade level, subject area(s) assigned.
• Ability to meet suitability criteria for employment and/or certification/licensure under Alabama law.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills with diverse groups to maximize student achievement.
• Ability to develop and implement curriculum for designated grade level/content areas.
• Ability to use technology to communicate, plan, instruction, and reports.
• Physical strength, mobility, stamina, and acuity for job responsibilities.
• Punctuality and regular attendance.
• Such alternatives to above qualifications as the Board may require.
