• Utilize approved district data sources to analyze student progress and provide targeted, differentiated instruction for all students.
• Build intentional and honest relationships with parents to update them on student progress.
• Prepare and assign personalized academic assignments, homework and projects according to district policy and student needs.
• Grade assignments in accordance with district guidelines and provide constructive feedback.
• Monitor, evaluate and report student progress, including academic growth, social skills, and behavior modification.
• Maintain and update files, including student paperwork, as needed.
• Set personal and professional goals aligned with district and school vision.
• Attend professional development sessions and meetings organized by principal/supervisor and district.
• Follow work day and attendance guidelines set forth by negotiated contract and Morris School District HR protocols.
• Meet requests for additional responsibilities by Principal/Supervisor.

Salary: In accordance with the established MorrisSchool District Salary Guide currently ranging from$67,095 - $116,805

Effective September 1, 2011,The New Jersey First Act implemented May 17, 2011, requires all employees of a school district to reside in the state of New Jersey. Employees of a school district hired after the effective date who do not reside in the State of New Jersey at the time of hire have one year from the effective date of employment to relocate their primary residence to New Jersey. Employees of the school district hired prior to the September 1, 2011 effective date of this Act are grandfathered and are not required to relocate to New Jersey.
