• Early College Academy is a charter school that is a Dropout Prevention Credit Recovery High School. Our charter is sponsored by the Educational Service center of Central Ohio, whose mission is to engagedisenfranchised students, low income youth, first‑generation college goers, English language learners, students of color and other young people underrepresented in higher education in a curriculum that has the potential for qualified students to earn college credit. Early College Academy is on a 4‑day work week, Monday – Thursday. Fridays are optional half day opportunity to work for additional pay by tutoring students, contacting parents, and an opportunity to work on assignments, career counseling and to close the academic gap.

Qualifications Profile

• Certification/License:
• [Ohio] State Certification as a Science Teacher.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Education

• Bachelors or Masters from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.

Experience

Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
