Union Springs Academy (grades 9-12, boarding academy) in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate NY is seeking a passionate and highly qualified Science Teacher to join our ministry team.

Responsibilities:

1. Love students into a saving relationship with Jesus.
2. Minister to students through Science and classroom opportunities.
3. Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
4. Integrate a biblical worldview into lesson planning and activities.
5. Engage students outside the classroom through recreation supervision, class trips, etc.
6. Create a positive learning environment that encourages participation and curiosity.
7. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
8. Support the goals of an Adventist boarding Academy as an active team member.

Required Experience

Qualifications:

• Must be a committed Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) with a strong personal faith and a heart for ministry through education.
• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Prior high school teaching experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to incorporate Christian values and a biblical worldview into instruction.
