- $49,820 - $56,794.80 annually for General Education Teachers
- $53,053 - $60,480.42 annually for Special Education Certified (SPED) Teachers

The Glenholme School
For over 50 years, The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has provided a comprehensive residential program and services for children with learning differences and special needs. Located in Washington, CT, the Teacher will be part of a cohesive, passionate, and dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a student‑centered approach to instruction
- Participate in a reflective professional development process
- Meet the requirements of the IEP/Treatment Plan process by contributing to a data‑based present level of student performance, accommodations, modifications, transitional elements, and any additional relevant information based on student needs
- Integrate multi‑modality instructional approaches in lesson planning and delivery to meet the diverse learning styles of students in the classroom
- Prioritize and promote a safe and secure learning environment through social‑emotional learning
- Collaborate formally and informally with Teaching Assistants, Occupational/Speech Therapists, Social Workers, Nursing, Behavior Specialists and school leaders regarding student and teacher supports
- Implement PBIS campus approaches (5:1 praise to corrective feedback ratio, focusing on skill development, utilizing varied approaches based on levels of student behavior) with high fidelity
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required (Master’s preferred)
- Connecticut Teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain a teaching certificate
- Three years of experience in education preferred
- Special education degree and experience preferred
