Job summary

Benedictine University is seeking an Undergraduate Student Employee to serve as a Science Peer Tutor in the Academic Support Center in Lisle, IL. The role is part-time and non-benefit eligible, with duties focused on tutoring science courses to fellow students.

As a Benedictine student in good standing, you will assist peers in General Biology, Genetics, Chemistry, Physics, and related fields, helping them grasp difficult concepts and improve problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.
• Experience tutoring science courses is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring for General Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Physiology, Anatomy, Chemistry and Physics.
• Answer student questions and explain concepts to enhance understanding.
