Job summary

The position is part-time (19 hours/week) in the Science department, with duties on RCC campuses. Strong emphasis on safety, organization, and collaborative work with students and staff is required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in science required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a science lab setting.
• Official transcripts required for required degree.
• Education/experience equivalency guidelines may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and accessible classrooms, labs, tools, and technology.
• Manage inventory of central supplies and lab equipment.
• Prepare labs, solutions, reagents, and experiments for classes.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory safety rules and procedures.
• Assist instructors and students during labs and activities.
• Coordinate student lab workers and oversee related tasks.
• Support general operations of RCC laboratories and greenhouse.
