Qualifications

• Students must have completed at least one high school lab course plus be currently enrolled in a college lab course; ideally, the student shall have completed at least one college lab course.
• Students must be responsible and able to focus on the task at hand.
• Students must be comfortable working with laboratory glassware and general lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• The Lab Assistant Student Worker provides administrative and clerical support to the associates of the Life & Physical Science and Biology Programs at Post University
• The primary responsibility of the Lab Assistant is to assist with the daily operations of the Post University science labs which include, but is not limited to:
• Assist Faculty in the setup and preparation of materials for biology, chemistry, physics, and environmental science labs both in the laboratories and field
• Clean up the laboratory, laboratory equipment, and glassware
• Other duties may be assigned
