Morgridge Institute for Research in Madison, WI seeks a Philanthropic Giving Manager to build and grow a mid-level donor portfolio, focusing on annual and long-term gifts. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will cultivate relationships with individual donors and prospects, travel as needed, and collaborate with leadership to implement fundraising programs.

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of successful solicitation required; biomedical fundraising experience preferred; strong

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Three or more years of successful philanthropic gift solicitation.
• Experience with biomedical fundraising preferred.

• Establish and maintain philanthropy-focused relationships with individuals.
• Develop and grow a donor portfolio with annual and long-term goals.
• Solicit annual, major, and multi-year gifts, primarily via personal visits.
• Travel outside Madison region to meet donors.
• Identify new leads and develop strategies for upgrading donors.
• Maintain portfolio in Salesforce and coordinate with team.
• Contribute to development strategies and program execution.
