Job summary

Burnsville-Eagan-Savage District 191 is seeking student-friendly volunteers for One91 science activity. This stipend position offers a $1500 stipend for the full year as students engage in scientific inquiry, apply the scientific method, and explore science content with guidance from district staff.

Ideal candidates will have experience organizing or leading science fairs, the ability to motivate peers in inquiry-based learning, and strong communication with students, parents, and teachers.

Qualifications

• Experience in organizing or leading science fairs or similar educational activities.
• Ability to motivate and engage students in scientific inquiry.
• Knowledge of State, Federal, and ISD 191 School Board Policies regarding student conduct and appropriate disciplinary action.
• Evidence of and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with coworkers, parents, community members, supervisor, and students.
• Ability to receive feedback and adjust accordingly.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to further the benefits of student participation in co-curricular activities.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.
