Space and Earth Science Data Analysis is seeking a Science Data CenterOperations Technical Support Developer to join their team at the Goddard Space Flight Center. In this role, you will support data processing, ingestion, and distribution operations while working closely with a diverse team.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in a relevant field and experience in software development, particularly in Python, C, or Perl. The position offers various perks, including performance bonuses, medical coverage, and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environment (2 years).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a database user.
• Minimum 2 years prior software development or maintenance experience in Python, C, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing science data processing, ingest, and distribution operations.
• Ensure data availability and assist in analytics related to data metrics.
• Create and modify scripts to improve reporting of operations status.
