Job summary

Central Point Partners is seeking a Math or Science Teacher for junior high and high school levels in the Grove City, OH area. The role requires 1 year of teaching experience and will follow a set curriculum in a campus with smaller class sizes and classroom aides to assist with student behavior.

The candidate should hold a bachelor's degree; a master's is preferred, and Ohio licensing in education or special education is advantageous.

Qualifications

Science OR Math Teacher - Junior High and High School Level

Central Point Partners has a client with an opening in the Grove City, OH area. We are looking for a Math OR Science Teacher with 1 year of teaching experience. The academy hiring has a curriculum to follow. Teach math and science in the academy- secondary education (jr high and high school) wing. Smaller classroom sizes. Teaching the subjects is the expectation. There are aides in the classroom to help these teenagers with behavior issues, and deescalating them. This is a contract to hire role- work onsite M-F.

Education:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• 1 year of experience teaching and/or other experience with youth who manifest primarily emotional, behavioral, psychological, developmental and/or social problems.

Certificates & Licenses:

• First Aid, CPR and CPI certification.
• Possession of a teaching license by Ohio Department of Education and/or Special Education Certification preferred.
• Possession of K-12 Mild/Moderate Special Education/Intervention Specialist License preferred.
• Possession and maintenance of certifications for teaching subjects' grades, as specified.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency with computer programs necessary to complete the above tasks including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Electronic Health Record.
