Job summary

The Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders (SCI/D) Inpatient Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides attending provider services to a panel of Veterans and in accordance with licensure privileges, scope of practice or functional statement. They function in a collaborative agreement with the SCI/D Medical Director.

Assignment will possibly include outpatient work as well. Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) Basic Requirements and Scope/Dimension criteria are outlined for APN II and

Qualifications

• Post-master's certificate, master's, or doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active and unrestricted APN license to practice as an NP.
• Basic board certification in FNP/ANP/AGPCNP/GNP from ANCC, AANPCB, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides attending provider services to a panel of Veterans.
• Collaborates with SCI/D Medical Director.
