Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Aurora, CO seeks a Software Configuration Management Analyst to establish, maintain, and control software baselines and releases. You will support development and integration teams with reliable builds and documented releases in line with program CM plans.

The role requires active SCI clearance and experience with CM processes, documentation, and ALM tools, plus collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure traceability and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with required relevant experience.
• Active SCI clearance at time of application.
• Experience with software builds, CI/CD pipelines, and build automation tools.
• Knowledge of multiple software baselines, branching and merging strategies.
• Experience documenting software changes and traceability to requirements.
• Familiarity with document management or ALM tools (DOORS, Jama, Polarion, SharePoint, Confluence).
• Experience releasing documents for software deliveries (release notes, build reports).
• Experience facilitating change control processes (CCB).
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined CM practices.
• Effective cross-functional collaboration and communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor software builds across environments.
• Establish and control multiple software baselines and branches.
• Implement CM processes and tools to ensure traceability.
• Document change descriptions, impact analyses, and requirements linkage.
• Manage release documents and ensure proper routing and storage.
• Lead or support change control meetings and decisions.
• Ensure compliance with CM plans, standards, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with development, systems engineering, and test teams.
• Monitor CM metrics and suggest process improvements.
