About the Role:

Are you passionate about helping students overcome behavioral challenges and succeed in school? We are seeking a dedicated School Behavior Interventionist to join our team and provide direct support to students, helping them develop social, emotional, and behavioral skills. This role involves collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to create a positive and structured learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized and school-wide behavioral intervention plans.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students in managing behavior.
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies such as Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Conduct classroom observations and collect behavioral data for progress monitoring.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and special education staff to address student needs.
  • Assist in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and conflict resolution when needed.
  • Provide training to staff and parents on behavior management strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Experience: At least one year working with children or adolescents in a behavioral support setting.
  • Certifications: RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral intervention techniques and crisis management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
