ProCare Therapy is actively hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in an alternative education setting in Kansas City, KS. This full-time role involves providing both 1:1 and small group behavior support for students demonstrating severe behaviors, with elopement and aggression as key concerns. If you're skilled at managing challenging behavior and passionate about making a difference, we want to hear from you.
Job Details:

• Location: Kansas City, KS
  
• Start Date: ASAP
  
• End Date: May 23, 2025
  
• Schedule: Monday Friday, during school hours
  
• Environment: Middle School Resource Classroom (Alternative School)
  
• Caseload: 11 students total, providing 1:1 and group support
  

Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
  
• Provide 1:1 and small group behavior support
  
• Support students demonstrating elopement, aggression, and other severe behaviors
  
• Document behaviors and assist with data collection
  
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and support staff
  

Requirements:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in Kansas
  
• Experience in school or behavioral settings preferred
  
• Comfortable working in high-need environments with complex behavior
  
• Ability to remain calm, consistent, and safety-focused
  

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay Starting at $17+/hour, based on experience
