Position: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: School setting

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support to students. The role involves collaborating with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), teachers, and school staff to implement behavior intervention plans and promote student success academically and socially.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide direct behavior support to students, either one-on-one or in small groups.
  2. Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA.
  3. Collect and record data on student progress and behaviors.
  4. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate behavioral strategies into the classroom environment.
  5. Assist students in developing communication, social, and adaptive skills.
  6. Participate in meetings and training sessions to discuss student progress and refine strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Active RBT certification required.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to remain patient, professional, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
