Job summary

Wyoming County Schools seeks a contracted Webmaster to manage and update the school websites for Herndon Consolidated surroundings. Responsibilities include monthly updates, posting Title I documents, and timely school news.

Qualifications

  • A valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
  • Minimum five years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Updating the school website at least once each month, with additional updates as needed throughout the year
  • Posting and maintaining all required federal program information, including Title I documents, parent notifications, policies, Right-to-Know information, and other postings
  • Publicizing upcoming parent and family engagement activities, workshops, and events
  • Communicating assessment information, testing schedules, and other academic updates to families
  • Posting school news, announcements, calendars, and student recognition items in a timely manner
  • Ensuring website content is accurate, current, and accessible to parents, students, and community stakeholders
  • Collaborating with the principal and central office departments to post district information
  • Maintaining compliance with district policies regarding student privacy, copyright, and web accessibility
  • Performing other related duties as assigned by the building principal or district information
