Job summary

Wyoming County Schools is seeking a Webmaster for Westside High to manage monthly updates to the school website and ensure timely posting of district information. The role includes maintaining federal program data, communicating assessment schedules, and publicizing family engagement activities.

The Webmaster will work with the principal and district offices to keep content accurate and accessible, while upholding privacy and copyright policies and supporting related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
• Minimum five years teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Updating the school website at least once each month, with additional updates as needed throughout the year.
• Posting and maintaining all required federal program information, including Title I documents, parent notifications, policies, Right-to-Know information, and other required postings.
• Publicizing upcoming parent and family engagement activities, workshops, and events.
• Communicating assessment information, testing schedules, and other academic updates to families.
• Posting school news, announcements, calendars, and student recognition items in a timely manner.
• Ensuring website content is accurate, current, and accessible to parents, students, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborating with the principal and central office departments to post required district information.
• Maintaining compliance with district policies regarding student privacy, copyright, and web accessibility.
• Performing other related duties as assigned by the building principal or district information.
